San Jose/South Bay

SAP Center

525 W Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA 95113

This venue is very large and it is more of an arena than a concert venue. I personally don’t usually like going to venues like this because of the size but if, once in a while, an artist that I really enjoy is performing there, I will go. Parking is relatively easy to find so that is always a good thing!

The Event Center @ SJSU

I love coming to concerts here, mostly because of the convenience. Students at SJSU tend to get discounts for the concerts that happen here

Shoreline Amphitheatre

1 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043

I have mixed opinions about this venue. On the one hand, tickets are usually pretty cheap for lawn tickets. But the thing is the lawn is pretty far away from the stage so its usually a little hard to see from back there. Other than that though Shoreline is a pretty decent venue.

This jazz club in downtown San Jose is a great place to get started if you are interested in getting into local music. Their schedules are posted up on the website if you are interested!
